About

Chelsee Lowe is a Los Angeles-based writer and editor obsessed with stories. She usually writes about people, travel, parenting, food, and home design.

When she’s not interviewing strangers or writing or feeding children, she’s likely planning her next family road trip or losing track of time thanks to a good book. (Recent favorites: Black Cake, Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow, Demon Copperhead.)

Her most recent work can be found in Travel + Leisure, TravelAge West, L.A. Parent, Ventura Blvd., Edible San Fernando Valley, and Parents. Other stories are in Venice Magazine, L.A. Weekly, Los Angeles Magazine, Eater L.A., Business Insider, Westways, and LAist.

Additional experiences and special projects include e-commerce writing, podcast script writing, book editing, speech writing, newsletter editing, social media marketing, and branded content work (Ford, Best Western, Target, and GoRVing). During the pandemic, she interviewed a 95-year-old woman over the course of months and turned hours of audio into a memoir.
